First & foremost I want to excuse the grainy pictures. Iphone cameras aren’t exactly ideal for blog post photos, butttt sometimes you have to do what ya have to do in order to get some content! Aside from that little tidbit, I couldn’t skip showing you guys the dress I rented from Rent the Runway for a gorgeous wedding of our good friends. This was my first experience with them after hearing about them for literally Y E A R S. To say the least, I was very pleased because honestly, who wants to buy a brand new dress for every occasion you have to attend? Not this girl!
Not just with this gown, but literally everything else that came along with renting from them was impressive. I was able to go online and very knowledgeably make a choice on which dress I was going to chose. This was because they provide size charts that are extremely detailed and even photos and personal experiences/opinions from previous renters! I saw this piece on a few other ladies that were about my size who looked phenomenal in the dress and that is what sold it to me!
Aside from that, if you are a first time renter, you get an awesome coupon code that provides you with some money off of your first purchase AND free shipping. Not lying to ya people. Ok, so I’m not even done…a huge, HUGE selling point to me was that you get a second size as a back-up for free. FOR FREE! This seriously came in handy for me because the original size I ordered that I thought would be long enough, was not. My second size that came ended up being PERFECT. Breathtakingly, perfectly floor length. Thank goodness for that second size. I was worried about something happening to the dress while wearing it. Ha! No need for that, because insurance for the dress is only $5.00. I can’t express enough how awesome this company is.
All in all, I paid around $55 and some change for two dresses, including the $5 insurance and a four day rental with all return packaging and shipping included. I chose this dress for so many beneficial reasons. The price for my lifestyle was more than ideal. I got so many compliments while attending our dear friends wedding and I danced all evening long comfortably while feeling gorg! Can’t beat it. This rose colored gown is a winner! BTW…scroll to the bottom to see how my night ended!
This dress is amazing. I have to say, at first I was worried this design would be too big of a leap for me, but boy am I glad I took the chance. It turned out great. You might think the excessive sequin details are too much, but I promise you…it is just right.
I LOVE that this gown has sleeves. I was originally on the hunt for something with long sleeves, but this was even better. More detail and more BAM!
These flats were perfect for the wedding. I picked them up last minute and I’m in love with the pointed toe.
P.S. I caught the bouquet…
Congratulations, Taylor & Frankie!
