Happy in Grey

Ever put together an outfit and just feel like yourself? Well, that was this little getup for me. From the coziest chenille sweater, destructed boyfriend jeans, all the way down to the bright white sneaks. I just felt like me! It’s an instant mood and confidence booster when you feel genuinely good in what you put on your body. Umm, hello…who doesn’t want to feel like that?

This sweater is the theee best. Currently, I’m obsessing over mock necks and funnel necks. They aren’t overbearing like a turtleneck tends to be at times and they cover up your chest from the harsh frigid temperatures during this time of year. The charcoal grey color is gawwwgeouss. It’s one of those pigments that get super pretty when the light hits it (you can see the color change in my photos above). OH YEAH, fyi, this sweater I’m bragging about is currently 40% off! I paired it with some boyfriend jeans that I will link below because they are perfect. I don’t know about you, but whenever I get boyfriend style jeans, they tend to stretch out in all of the wrong places. By the end of the day, they are practically falling to my knees. Not these bad boys! They keep their proper fit at your waist throughout the day (or multiple days if you rewear jeans a few times like me) and keep that loose, boyfriend fit in all of the RIGHT areas like your thighs and booty!

To lighten the look up a bit, I just threw on some white sneaks from Zara, which can be paired with countless looks. Versatility, heeyyyy! Honeslty, making a fashion statement wasn’t super important when it came to this beanie because I’m about to hit you with the truth – it was COLD. Like single digit temps. So while this beige beanie did pull the look together nicely, it sure did serve its purpose. It’s all about balance, right?

I hope you enjoyed this post and you can shop what I’m wearing/similar items below or on my shop page!
